After waiting for about one year after the enactment of the Microfinance Act, 2006, the Microfinance Regulations were launched by the Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Kenya on Monday 12th May 2008. The ceremony was attended by most of the Microfinance Institutions that wish to be regulated. The programme for the day is attached herewith.
